Privacy Policy

Your numbers stay yours.

This page explains, in plain language, what information All-Calc collects, what it doesn't, and why almost everything you type into a calculator never leaves the device you're using.

01The Short Version

All-Calc is built so that the math you run — your loan amount, your salary, your exam scores, your date of birth, your retirement contributions — is processed entirely inside your own browser. There are no accounts, no login forms, and no database where your calculator inputs are stored. When you close the tab, that information is gone, because it was never sent anywhere to begin with. The only data All-Calc collects is the same limited, largely anonymous technical information that almost every website on the internet collects automatically, used to keep the site running and to understand which tools are useful.

The rest of this policy goes into more detail on exactly what that means, what third-party services are involved (advertising and analytics, mainly), and what choices you have. If you only read one section, the section above is the one that matters most.

02Information We Do Not Collect

Every calculator on this site runs as client-side JavaScript, meaning the calculations happen on your device using your device's processing power, not on a server we control. Because of that, none of the following is ever transmitted to All-Calc, stored by All-Calc, or visible to anyone operating this site:

  • Financial inputs — loan amounts, interest rates, salary figures, investment contributions, EMI or mortgage details, and anything entered into a loan, savings, retirement, or tax calculator.
  • Personal identifiers entered into a calculator — dates of birth, ages, names typed into optional fields, or course names and grades entered into the GPA or grade calculators.
  • Health or fitness figures — height, weight, or any values entered into BMI or other body-metric tools.
  • Account credentials — because there are no accounts, there are no passwords, email-based logins, or saved profiles to compromise in the first place.

This isn't a policy choice layered on top of the site after the fact — it's a direct consequence of how the calculators are built. A static page that adds two numbers together, computes compound interest, or works out a weighted grade average has no technical need for a backend server, so none of these tools have one wired up to record what you type.

03Information We Do Collect

While your calculator inputs stay local, All-Calc — like virtually any website — does receive a small amount of standard technical information whenever a page loads. This is typically collected through web server logs and a privacy-respecting analytics tool, and may include:

  • Basic device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen size, and device category (mobile, tablet, desktop).
  • Approximate location — generally limited to city or region level, derived from IP address, and never precise enough to identify a specific address.
  • Usage patterns — which calculator pages are visited, how long a page is viewed, which links are clicked, and which pages led you to the site.
  • Technical diagnostics — error logs and page-load performance data, used to find and fix bugs or slow-loading pages.

None of this information is cross-referenced with the values you enter into a calculator, because those values never reach our servers in the first place. The analytics data we do receive is used in aggregate — to see, for example, that the EMI calculator gets heavy traffic on weekday mornings, or that a particular tool loads slowly on older phones — rather than to build a profile of any individual visitor.

04Cookies and Local Storage

All-Calc may use a small number of cookies and browser storage mechanisms, generally falling into three categories:

TypePurposeTypical duration
EssentialRemembering basic interface preferences, such as a toggled tab or selected unit, within a single session.Session only
AnalyticsDistinguishing returning visitors from new ones, in aggregate, to measure site usage.Up to 13 months
AdvertisingSet by third-party ad providers to serve and measure relevant ads, as described below.Varies by provider

None of these cookies store the actual numbers you've entered into a calculator. Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings menu, and doing so will not break any calculator's core functionality — at most, you may lose a remembered preference like a previously selected tab.

05Advertising and Affiliate Links

All-Calc is supported financially by lightweight display advertising and a small number of relevant affiliate links — for example, a link to a loan or savings product that may appear after you've used a financial calculator. These are provided through third-party advertising networks, which may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance.

Third-party advertising and analytics providers may collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements. This collection is governed by each provider's own privacy policy, not by All-Calc directly, and we encourage you to review those policies if you want full detail on how a specific provider handles data.

If you click an affiliate link and go on to use a product or service from that link, the partner company may know that the referral came from All-Calc, along with whatever information you choose to share directly with them on their own site. We do not receive or see any personal or financial details you enter on a partner's website — only that a referral occurred.

06Third-Party Services

To keep the site running, fast, and supported, All-Calc relies on a small number of third-party services, which may independently collect limited technical data as part of providing their service:

  • Hosting and content delivery — providers that serve the site's files and fonts quickly regardless of where you're located.
  • Web analytics — used to understand aggregate traffic patterns and page performance, as described in Section 3.
  • Advertising networks — used to display ads and affiliate placements, as described in Section 5.

Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy and terms, and may be based in a different country than you are. We choose providers with a reasonable privacy track record, but we don't control how they handle data beyond what they disclose in their own policies, so it's worth reviewing those directly if a specific provider's practices matter to you.

07Children's Privacy

All-Calc is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, which is consistent with the rest of this policy — the calculators themselves don't collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, since all calculations happen locally in the browser. If you believe a child has somehow submitted personal information to us through a contact form or similar channel, please reach out using the contact details below and we'll remove it.

08Data Security

Because calculator inputs are never transmitted or stored, there's effectively no calculator data on our end to secure or breach. For the limited technical and analytics data described above, we rely on the standard security practices of our hosting and analytics providers, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers. No method of online transmission is ever completely without risk, but the architecture of this site — computation in the browser, nothing personal sent to a server — is itself the strongest protection we can offer: there's very little to expose in the first place.

09Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or various U.S. state privacy laws, including the right to know what data is held about you, request its deletion, or opt out of certain types of data processing such as targeted advertising. In practice, because All-Calc doesn't maintain accounts or store personal calculator data, there is generally very little tied to any individual to request or delete. For the technical and analytics data described in Section 3, you can:

  • Block or clear cookies through your browser's privacy settings at any time.
  • Use browser privacy modes (such as private or incognito browsing) to limit persistent tracking across sessions.
  • Opt out of personalized advertising through the settings offered by major ad networks, where available, or through industry opt-out tools.
  • Contact us directly with any specific request or question about data handling, using the details in Section 11.

10Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the site, the services it relies on, or applicable law. When that happens, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to revisit this page periodically, particularly if you have specific privacy concerns, but we won't make changes that meaningfully reduce your privacy without making that change clearly visible here.

11Contact Us

If you have questions about this privacy policy, want more detail on how a specific third-party provider handles data, or have a request related to your information, you can reach out through the contact page. We try to respond to genuine privacy questions promptly, even though — by design — there's rarely much data on our side to look up.
